Passion Haze
A passion fruit sour in margarita clothing. The puree carries body and tartness where juice would thin out, and a quarter ounce of Cointreau sharpens the edges instead of sweetening them.

Ingredients
2 oz blanco tequila
0.75 oz passion fruit puree
0.75 oz fresh lime juice
0.5 oz agave nectar (2:1 agave to water)
0.25 oz Cointreau
Method
- Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
- Shake hard until well chilled.
- Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
- Garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel or an edible flower.
Panel note
Use unsweetened puree, not passion fruit syrup. If yours is already sweetened, cut the agave to a quarter ounce and taste before you pour.
