Tommy's Margarita
The purist's margarita: no orange liqueur, just tequila, lime, and agave nectar. It puts a great blanco center stage instead of hiding it behind sweetness.

Ingredients
2 oz blanco tequila
1 oz fresh lime juice
0.5 oz agave nectar (2:1 agave to water)
Method
- Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
- Shake until well chilled.
- Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
- Optional: salt half the rim; garnish with a lime wheel.

The blanco you choose changes this drink completely. Sweetened tequila reads as syrup here; a dry, agave-forward one reads as agave.
