Gran Coramino, the tequila brand co-founded by comedian Kevin Hart and Proximo Spirits chairman Juan Domingo Beckmann, began a nationwide U.S. launch of its first unaged tequila, Gran Coramino Blanco, on October 21, 2026.
The release is the brand's fourth expression, joining its existing Cristalino, Reposado and Añejo lines, and moves Gran Coramino into blanco, the largest segment of the tequila category by volume. The bottle is priced at $34.99 for 750ml and $18.99 for 375ml, according to the company and to trade outlet Shanken News Daily.
What Gran Coramino says is in the bottle
According to the company's own release, Gran Coramino Blanco is made from three named inputs: 100% Blue Weber agave, deep well water from Jalisco, and the brand's proprietary yeast. The agave is harvested between six and eight years of maturity and slow cooked for 36 to 40 hours in brick ovens, the company said. Trade coverage citing the release added that the cooked agave is extracted through a four step roller mill, fermented 40 to 50 hours in closed stainless steel tanks, then double distilled in copper pot stills. Shanken News Daily reported the finished spirit is bottled at 40 percent alcohol by volume.
How Blanco differs from the brand's Cristalino
Gran Coramino's own release draws a distinction between the new Blanco and its existing Cristalino line: the company describes Cristalino as a reposado aged two to four months and then charcoal filtered for clarity, while Blanco skips barrel aging entirely. The company frames the two as different routes to the same house style, one built on aging and filtration and the new one built on omitting both steps.
Gran Coramino's growth since launch
Gran Coramino entered the market with a single cristalino reposado expression before expanding to reposado and añejo bottlings. Shanken News Daily reported that the brand's U.S. case volume doubled to 151,000 cases last year, a performance that earned it Impact magazine's Hot Prospect recognition. In materials distributed with the Blanco launch, the company said it has surpassed 200 million dollars in cumulative U.S. retail sales, a figure that is the company's own and has not been independently audited in available reporting. Ahead of the national rollout, the company previewed the Blanco at an event in Atlanta billed as part of its Winners Only Tour.
What the company and its co-founder said
Kevin Hart, credited as co-founder, addressed the simplicity of the recipe directly in the launch materials, saying that a short ingredient list does not mean an easy product to make and that with three ingredients there is nowhere to hide. The company's language throughout the release ties the Blanco to the brand's existing marketing theme built around the idea that hard work separates its products from competitors.
What this means
The three ingredient description is Gran Coramino's own account of its process, not a claim checked against a public certificate, and outlets covering the launch have flagged that distinction rather than treat it as settled fact. Readers who want that kind of documentation already exist in the market: Leucadia Blanco, for instance, carries Verified Organic certification that Tequila Watch has checked against the certifier's public register. Gran Coramino does not currently appear in Tequila Watch's database, so no TW Score exists for the new Blanco, and nothing here should be read as one.
