Maestro Dobel Tequila and José Andrés' Oyamel are running the Dobel Tequila Club again at the 2026 US Open, held August 23 to September 13 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, Queens.
The pairing is the second straight year Oyamel has supplied the food menu for the club, and Dobel's fourth year holding the title of the tournament's declared Official Tequila, according to the United States Tennis Association's 2026 culinary lineup announcement and coverage by QNS and Long Island Tennis Magazine.
What is on the Dobel Tequila Club menu
The 2026 menu carries over Oyamel's Taco Cochinita and Nachos Chilorio, according to Forbes and Long Island Tennis Magazine coverage of the USTA's culinary rollout. In prior years the pop-up also served a Cucumber Smash cocktail built on Dobel's Diamante Cristalino with elderflower liqueur and fresh cucumber. The club's headline drink remains the Ace Paloma, a mix of Maestro Dobel Diamante Cristalino, grapefruit soda and lime juice served in a souvenir cup. Fox Business reported that the brand has also poured player-named drinks, including a Marg-Aryna for Aryna Sabalenka and a Fritzy Spicy Margarita for Taylor Fritz, both of whom serve as Dobel tennis ambassadors.
How the sponsorship developed since 2023
Dobel has held the Official Tequila designation at the US Open since 2023. The Dobel Tequila Club launched in 2024 as a standalone hospitality space, initially built around a menu from chef Enrique Olvera, according to Good Morning America's coverage that year. Oyamel joined as the club's culinary partner in 2025, a collaboration Fox Business described as the club's second year of operation and Dobel's third year as the tournament's tequila sponsor. A PR Newswire release from Dobel that same August reported that the Ace Paloma had sold over 70,000 units on-site the year before and had grown to the second most recognized drink at the tournament, based on Dobel's own citation of an SRI 2024 evaluation. Dobel has also carried the Official Tequila designation at the Miami Open, the BNP Paribas Open and the Cincinnati Open, per a company release covered by Footwear Magazine.
Who owns Dobel and who runs Oyamel
Maestro Dobel Tequila is owned by the Beckmann family, which also owns Jose Cuervo, and is distributed through the family's Proximo Spirits. The brand was introduced in 2008 and is named for Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta, an eleventh-generation member of the family also known by the nickname Dobel. It is credited with launching the first cristalino style, a filtered aged tequila stripped of color, with its Diamante expression. Oyamel is a Mexican restaurant concept from José Andrés Group, chef José Andrés' hospitality company, with locations in Washington, D.C.'s Penn Quarter and in New York's Hudson Yards. Andrés' restaurant group operates 31 restaurants spanning fast-casual concepts to the Michelin-starred minibar.
