Real Gavelo

History

Real Gavelo is a producer-driven tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco, made with estate-grown agave from the region's iron-rich red soils and worked the slow way: tahona stone crushing and brick-oven cooking rather than industrial shortcuts. The brand explicitly rejects lifestyle and celebrity-driven marketing, competing instead on agave character, and its Blanco High Proof took a Double Gold at the 2026 Agavos Awards.
